Pakasteet is a duo project of Jussi Lehtisalo (Circle) and Mika Taanila (Swissair). The nine tracks on their debut cassette album ”Pula” collide moody electronic patterns with dark textures and cut-up vocals of consumerist culture. Mood music for slow Saturday afternoon motorcades, shopping malls and suburbian outlets.

Incredible drones. The heavy, fuzzy, blown-out distortion is perfect for relaxation. And to have an hour of it??? Awesome. "fade" makes me feel good.

This album was a really nice surprise. The album description already sums it up nicely though. Swaggering electronica!

Floor-to-ceiling Boris ragers! It’s like they looked back on songs like Statement and Woman On the Screen and said “let’s do a whole album like that!” Most of these tracks don’t even pass 3 minutes! Zerkalo holds up the middle with some anguished doom. In the end, *NO* is as strong and declarative as it’s title.
